Originally Jade Greene Productions,  our company was founded by  actress/writer Jade Greene in 1990. The touring company worked in venues all over New Jersey including The Palms and The Castle in Lakewood, PJ Ruggles in Spring Lake, Lynn's in Elizabeth, and Friar Tuck Inn in Cedar Grove, performing plays and interactive murder mysteries. By 1992, we had opened  our own venue, Thalia's Theatre in West Long Branch, adding interactive children's plays to the mix.  When the building was sold in 1994, we moved the operation to Seaview Square Mall in Ocean Township, as the Jewelbox Theatre. Unfortunately, Seaview Square Mall, along with our shining Jewelbox, was razed late in 2000. Returning to our "gypsy" roots, we started performing at The Manchester Inn, a beautiful Victorian B & B in Ocean Grove.  In 1995 we opened the doors of the Cafe Theatre in Toms River. Sadly, due to the economic downturn, we were forced to close its doors in 1998. Since then we have been touring  and working out of venues such as the White Pearl Hotel In Seaside Heights, Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune,  The Albatross in Ocean Grove, and Jacques' Reception Center in Middletown. Most recently, in the fall of 2010, taking up residence at the newly formed Grange Playhouse in Howell, a collective of writers, producers, directors and actors, this creative crew will be producing original works by local writers. Our initial effort there is  A ROCKIN' CHRISTMAS CAROL, an interactive musical for all ages, based on the classic Dickens tale with book and lyrics by Jade Greene, music by Ed Schilter. After twenty years of entertaining the masses, we know how to show our audiences a good time.
