History
Center Stage Playhouse was founded in 1969 by Anthony Della Rocca and a group of his friends who had grown up in the Bronx. They decided that their borough deserved a Broadway-quality theater with ticket prices that anyone could afford, as well as artistic opportunities for members of the community.
