Established in 1977, the Crown Uptown is located in a historic 1928 vaudeville theatre. It was designed by the famous Boller Brothers and was Wichita's first fully atmospheric theatre. The stars still twinkle in the ceiling.
Nationally recognized for its dining and entertainment, producer Ted Morris auditions over 1,000 professional actors, singers and dancers each year at national auditions. Crown Uptown is a proud member of the National Dinner Theatre Association, an organization of professional dinner theatres from across the country.
The Crown Uptown is handicap accessible and you may move about to any part of the theatre without encountering a single step. Before the show, guests enjoy a four-entrée buffet with eight sides, a salad bar and soup. Our buffet selections change throughout the year to provide a variety of seasonal choices. It's important to us that only the freshest and most flavorful items are included. Coffee and iced tea are complimentary.
