About Us:
Founded in 1989 by Dave Radtke and Ted Weil, Falcon continues to be faithful to its mission of bringing powerful theater to the Greater Cincinnati area. Â Since our first show, BEYOND THERAPY, we have brought high caliber theatrical productions to our audiences. Â This level of quality is the hallmark of the Greater Cincinnati theater scene.
Falcon first took the stage in the Westwood Town Hall, an historic building that is run by the City of Cincinnati as a recreation and arts center. Â After 14 years in that venue, we reloctated to the Monmouth Theater right across the river in Newport, Kentucky. Â We are currently involved in the on-going transformation of this space...turning it into a vibrant home within walking distance of the Newport on the Levee entertainment district.
Falcon has also actively contributed to the Cincinnati theatrical scene through its participation in arts organizations on both the state and local level. Â As a past member of the Ohio Community Theater Association (OCTA), Falcon provided a powerful voice, helping to distinguish the Greater Cincinnati area as one of the most diverse theatrical environments in the state. Â Falcon was invited by OCTA to showcase our productions at the state level for 6 of our 8 years as members. Â And, we received outstanding critical and popular acclaim each time.
As a member of the League of Cincinnati Theaters, Falcon has reaffirmed our commitment to growth and the promotion of a unified arts scene in Greater Cincinnati. Through this association with theaters including Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Shakespeare Theatre (just to name a few), Falcon will continue to be a thriving part of Greater Cincinnati's exploding theater scene.
