La Costa Theatre Company

As a theatre company we strive for artistic excellence, we hold ourselves to the highest standards, creating evocative theatre that compels its audience into action. We believe that theatre can inspire and move an audience but it can also purely entertain and take you outside of your daily life. We ride the coast bringing together truthful and honest work that transforms and amuses. La Costa has received critical acclaim for their productions of The Last Five Years, A New Brain, Beasts on the Moon, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Stuck!, and most recently, The Exonerated. In 2006, La Costa Theatre Company was honored to be deemed "one the best new theatre troupes" by Chris Jones. The 100+ seat theatre was opened in September of 2007, and with a second theatre just opening in the space, La Costa continues to look toward the future and strengthen their place in Chicago Theatre.
