History:

The Laboratory Theater of Florida is a rare combination of ensemble work and artistic risk. It is a company that strives to present the human experience in all its rich diversity. Lab Theater's actors receive a variety of theatrical training to deliver strong messages that remain with audiences long after the final bow.

Lab Theater founder Annette Trossbach is known for her uniquely theatrical choreographic and directorial style, combining physical theater, detailed character study technique, text and dance. Using her instincts and training from London's East 15, her work is distinguished by detailed movement and insightful humor.

Lab Theater audiences may see complex works become widely accessible through their own experiences with ethical and social challenges - these works are presented with passion, skill, and commitment.
