On May 13, 2005 when the Lexington Music Theatre Co. opened its doors, it was billed as " The Premiere Performance Venue ", committed to bringing world class entertainment to the Blue Water Area. To date the Lexington Music Theatre Co. has featured a variety of cultural productions that have enormously enriched the community. The Lexington Music Theatre Co. is a contributing structure in the Downtown Lexington main street of commerce.
Beautiful Victorian Architecture, including the use of period style oak woodwork, reclaimed brick, and lush carpeting adorn the theatre's interior. A generous hardwood stage, "state of the art" lighting and sound along with three seating sections Cabaret, Main, and Balcony complete the interior. Complete with four dressing rooms to accommodate 18, a box office and production office, LEXMTC is a fully functioning theatre operation dedicated to bringing top quality, professional entertainment to the Blue Water Area.
