McLennan Theatre's exceptional reputation attracts individuals from far and wide. Our program challenges students on the stage, behind the scenes and with passionate professors.
The program offers freshman- and sophomore-level courses in performance, technical theatre, movement and dance, and theatre history that lead toward an Associate of Arts in Theatre Arts. You can also add courses in music, and private voice lessons are available to theatre majors who qualify.
Many of these courses can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree, depending on the school to which you plan to transfer.
You'll gain real-world experience in facets of production while working on McLennan Theatre’s four fully mounted productions annually. These can include plays, musical theatre and originally conceived dance works, as well as fully staged operas by McLennan's Music department.
