Welcome to the Facebook Page of the Award Winning Milton High School Theatre Department
There is much excitement in the air as we embark upon the new school year… especially with focus upon continuation of a legacy of remarkable success that we laid foundation for in the past years. Previous years have been chock-full of awards for Milton Theatre including Georgia Theatre Conference State Champion, Georgia Theatre Conference Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, Region One Act Play Champions, Region Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, State Champions, and State Best Actress awards. We also received straight Superiors for all performance Individual Events at the Georgia Thespian Conference and a group musical and monologues Individual event were chosen to perform as part of the IE showcase. Milton had one student chosen to participate in the Governors Honors Program in Theatre and one in Dance and we have many students starting college theatre training at prestigious Universities including North Carolina School of the Arts and Juilliard. We also have an amazing Improv Troupe, offer student directed shows, field trips, New York trips, and so much more. All of this excitement brings with it many exciting opportunities for students and parents as we maintain, shape, and continue to improve an already dynamic theatre department.
