About Movement Theater
Movement Theater opened in 2010 as a Performing Arts Center, offering many year round classes in 3 flexible semesters. Classes are offered in three categories- Movement, Drama and Voice. Running classes in semesters gives students a chance to try other activities and different classes with us throughout the year. Our class time is solely dedicated to technique and learning, instead of preparing for performances. For the more serious student, we do offer several performance opportunities in our annual Christmas musical, Spring Showcase Concert (coming 2015), and our "Artists in Motion" Performing Company. Because of our unique teaching philosophies, our students are learning and progressing more quickly in 1 semester than students studying an entire year at recital based studios.
