Rising Phoenix Theatre Company

Rising Phoenix Theatre Company is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, funded by private donations, grants and ticket sales. We rely on the generosity of our volunteers and patrons. All donations are tax-deductible. We regularly offer 4-6 mainstage productions through the year as well as educational opportunities for people of all ages and ability levels.

We strive to share the art and appreciation of live theatre and all things connected with it. We are housed in a former Masonic Temple, built in 1883, and offer tours and opportunities to work in and view behind-the-scenes areas with minimal notice. Volunteering positions include ushering, office work, painting/building/designing, sewing, and rehearsal assistance.

All performers are chosen from an audition process, and most are local actors pursuing a degree in performance, holding a degree in theatre/music, or possessing enough experience to be ready to work with us. We are an integral part of helping Downtown Middletown regain the splendor it once held.
