Brought together by their training at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, SaBooge Theatre is a critically- acclaimed ensemble whose filmic, image-based physical performances combine rigor, pedagogy, and a boundless collective imagination to create a dark and richly aesthetic theatrical universe.
SaBooge Theatre conceives compelling and highly visual narratives that seek the revelation of an unexpected humanity in the extraordinary and the grotesque. From the root of its outcasts, untouchables and eccentrics spring fantastical universes whose pathos and humour reveal, through their very larger-than-lifeness, what it is to be human.
