Southern Ballet Theatre

Southern Ballet Theatre, formerly Gwinnett Dance Ensemble, was founded in 1991 by Astistic Director Phyllis Allen to give a small ensemble of dancers an outlet to perform.

Now, with over 20 dancers in the professional and pre-professional company and over 30 student apprentices, the company has outgrown its "ensemble" name as it looks to educate, promote dance, and increase appreciation for the arts by exciting audiences in the southeast and metro Atlanta communities.
