The goal of The Luke is to provide a high quality, affordable, accessible, youth-friendly performing arts venue to the students of Santa Barbara Junior High School and the community at large
Over 140 arts and educational organizations make their home at The Luke.  A rich and diverse offering of dance, music, theatre, film and special events makes the Luke a hub of the arts in Santa Barbara.  In addition to being known as the place where Santa Barbara’s home-grown arts thrive, The Luke is proud to host world class artists including Savion Glover, Judy Collins, Mavis Staples, Gilles Apap, Stephen Stills, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Arturo Sandoval, Rufus Wainwright, The Takacs Quartet and the Canadian Brass.  The Santa Barbara International Film Festival brings exciting workshops, lectures and screenings with Academy Award winning screenwriters, actors, producers and directors to our stage annually.
The Luke Theatre wins the hearts of audiences who are in awe of its architectural beauty and warmth, and has garnered multiple awards for its Spanish Colonial Revival artistic and architectural design and construction.
