About Us:
The Theatre Guild, Southeast Civic Light Opera and The Childrens' Repertory Company were started in 1994 by Jeff Hathcock, as a way to provide opportunities for children, teens and adults to participate in the Performing Arts.

From an original group of 15 actors, rehearsing in a small, rented room in a dance studio, Hathcock has seen his dream materialize into a thousand-seat theater and casts which now range from 40 to 75 actors in any given show.

The Company is comprised of three distinct entities:

The Theatre Guild - produces dramas and comedies; generally with adult casts, but quite often with teens or younger kids, as well. Some of the more recent productions are: "Jack the Ripper", "Our Town", "Arsenic and Old Lace" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Southeast Civic Light Opera - produces musicals with mixed casts; children and adults. Some of our more recent productions are: "The Music Man", "Once Upon a Mattress", "The Sound of Music", "Lil' Abner" and "The Wizard of Oz.

Childrens' Repertory Company - produces childrens' shows, such as: "Alice in Wonderland", "The Jungle Book", "Babes in Toyland" and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

The Company currently produces five shows per year; two in the spring, one in the summer and two in the fall.

The Theatre Guild is not affiliated with AmericanTowns Media
