About Us
The VBT Company was founded as a non- profit organization by Heidi LuMaye and Cheri Glankler. VBT began in the heart of downtown Vacaville with only twelve young and inspirational company members.It soon became clear that VBT needed a school of it's own, and the Academy was formed.
In 2006 the Academy was purchased by Heidi LuMaye and became a separate entity, while VBT Company retained it's non- profit status. The role of the VBT Academy is to provide a solid foundation of training,development and support, while allowing VBT Company to remain a goal to which the dancers' aspire and showcase their talents.
