About Us:

The Historic Vista Theater/PAAC promotes, produces, and encourages the arts in all forms for the benefit of the residents in Marquette County, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We provide an environment for the expression of art and an opportunity for entertainment. We are an active moviehouse, music venue, cultural event center and community theatre; who welcome all who are interested to audition/participate in all productions.

PAAC has owned and operated the Historic Vista Theater in Negaunee, MI since 1973. The first production was "Oklahoma" on April 30, 1975.

Over the years PAAC has put on a variety theater productions and concerts. Including Spamalot, West Side Story, The Hobbit, Lombardi, Anatomy of a Murder, Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, Godspell, Annie, The Full Monty, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and 15 productions of Richard O'Brien's "Rocky Horror Show" (2000-2015).

The stage has been graced by the likes of Fred Waring, The Dukes of Dixieland and Frank Nero. PAAC has also produced events such as The Vienna Boys Choir and more at other appropriate venues in the region. More recently by such local, regional, and national roots acts such as Jonathan Rundman, Austin Lucas and Chasing Steel.
