Founded in 1989 by a group of dancers committed to creating an environment of cultural excellence West Hawaii Dance Theatre (WHDT), under the Artistic Direction of Virginia Holte, has grown into a mutifaceted organization, offering continuing education, performance opportunities, outreach programs, and workshops with visiting instructors.
